Deoghar College, Deoghar is one of the oldest College, founded in the year 1951 situated at Deoghar Jharkhand India. This constituent college, which is located in a 52 acre campus, has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and have been approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). KSD has a population of 6,681  students and provide 17 courses from 7 courses under seven degree levels inclusive of undergraduate as well as postgraduate.

The Deoghar College has developed the following unique structure of facilities for the academic as well as personal development of the students. Such include provision of hostel for both genders, and adequate accommodation for those that Pay for the hostels. The campus has a good library facility that is used in to equip the learners with enough knowledge they require. Specialised laboratories are available for different faculties so as to provide practical exposure. The college also has very good IT facilities which enables it to meet the advance technologies of the modern world. For health reasons, all students and members of the public can access medical services from the health facility equipped with first aid services and an exhibition showcasing the medical offerings while for health, body and fitness, there is the gym for those interested in exercises. Other facilities add to the student’s life in the campus include a cafeteria, an event and seminar hall, and provision for most sports activities.

Deoghar college has the variety of courses for its students, offering them 7 undergraduate programmes and 10 postgraduate programmes. At the UG level the popular programmes are known as BA, B.Sc, BCA, BBA and LLB and at the PG level there are MA in Sanskrit, History, Philosophy, English, Hindi, Economics and Political Science and M.Sc in Botany, Physics, Chemistry and Maths and Zoology. All academics are degree programmes offered full-time and assist students to gain broad knowledge and skills in the subject they choose.
