Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa was established in the year 1988 and the Department of Business Administration is one of its constituent college offering specialised programme in Management & Business Administration. Despite being a young department was offering MBA programme in specialisation of Marketing, HRM & International Business from last ten years.

Department of Business Administration provides improved facilities to the students for their effective learning. In this capacity it holds a vast collection of books, short research papers and Ph.D. theses which caters to the academic needs for different faculties. Currently the faculty has well equipped laboratories such as computer Laboratory with the facility to accommodate 100 students at a time. The department also undertakes provision of wireless connection to enhance student’s access to the internet in the campus. For such events as well as discussions that may be academic in nature, there is a well-equipped conference hall. Further, the campus have guest room accommodation for the guest faculty and the family members of the students making the environment more homely for everyone.

With regard to its academic course, the Department of Business Administration offers courses to cater various goals and dreams. The department offers three full-time programmes: There are an undergraduate programme, a BBA which takes three years to complete, an MBA which will take two years to complete and a one-year M.Phil in Management. These programmes are intended to provide the students with knowledge and skills need for them to succeed in the business world.

The admission process of the Department of Business Administration differ in merit for all its programmes as follows. For MBA the department accepts only CMAT score as the criteria for admission in line with management education practices.
