Department of Business Management, Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, is a coeducational department situated in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, working under the banners of Gondwana University. The department has garnered a reputation for offering a business education. Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) the department offers two postgraduate programmes in management fields. Since its establishment, it has a one faculty member and has a vision to produce future business leaders by offering specialised courses. 

Department of Business Management has well-equipped learning amenities to ensure the students achieve their goals in training. The library acts as the store house of knowledge, both in form of academic databases and as reference materials to support management studies. For people who are fascinated with some form of physical activity, there are sporting amenities that help balance work and play. There is also a good Information Technology provision to make the students have acquaintance with the most used technological equipment in the business fields. Advanced laboratories meet the needs of the practical approach and give students the opportunity to work with material in a business context. Also, the department offers hostel facilities for both male and female students so that students conduct themselves in the most appropriate environment as they engage in their studies and personal interactions. 

With regard to the course, the Department of Business Management, at present, offers two full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes. These include general MBA and MBA in Business Management, both which seeks to provide students with general management knowledge and skills. 

Selecting students through the admission process to the Department of Business Management in Gondwana University, capable and motivated students are choosen for MBA programmes. It is known that MBA admissions take into account the curriculum of the applicants ranked in, the scores in the entrance exams, and in some cases previous work experience.
