The Department of Computer Science & Information Technology initiated in 2001 which is the part of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. This unit of the university is spread in the centre of Aurangabad, Maharashtra and has been a hub of technology development for more than two decades. The department has a small area of coverage that is 0.266 acres which enable students to have easy learning environment. The department is fully equipped with a faculty of twelve members who prepares postgraduate programmes in computer science and information technology. The total approved intake for these courses is 114 students per year and there are enough prospects for the persons interested in technology education and careers to further their studies.
