Department of MCA, Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bhaddal is situated at Ropar, Punjab started in 2001 is affiliated college. This is an AICTE recognised institution providing courses in computer application for those who wants to start a career in the IT field. Located on a small plot area of 3 acre, the department had the total enrolment of 19 students and faculty members of 1.
It has various facilities whose purpose is to improve the learning environment and contribute to students’ activities. The campus also has a different hostel for boys and girls to enhance the quality of students’ living standards for students from different regions. A well equipped library is the source of knowledge, there are vast number of resources available in computer applications and concerning field. It also has well equipped IT facilities current for practical training within constantly shifting technology context. For a healthy mind in a healthy body Students can take advantage of; Sports facilities, Gym. The campus also has a hall where seminars and other major events can take place thereby enhancing academic spirit of the campus. Interestingly, the institute has individual departmental laboratories which provide a practical taste of new technologies used in computer applications.
The Department of Master of Computer Applications is devoted entirely to its only programme, the Master of Computer Applications, a two-year full-time programme. This particular line of teaching methods produces a comprehensive understanding of the application of computers and other related technical skills in helping student face challenges that they might encounter in this viually growing IT sector.
