The Tumkur University, Tumkur, is a constituent college for the Department of Studies and Research in Business Administration established in 2018. This is a college, established in Karnataka, India which is committed in offering quality education in business administration. The department is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), so it meets the requirements of the country. It is a co-educational institution and all genders are welcome.

The Department of Studies and Research in Business Administration has some of the facilities that it uses in enabling a student to enjoy his/her learning and development. The main library situated in the Dr. V.S. Acharya Memorial Block itself boasts of 41497 books and 36 journals. It also contains a book bank section and separate section carrying books for competitive exams to help students in their education and employment. All the areas of the college campus are Wi-Fi enabled and thus there is internet connectivity for faculty and research scholars and students available. This digital support helps provide an immediate source of various information resources improving the students’ learning process. It also has laboratories, so that students can actually practice what they learn in the class.

The department offered full time MBA programme is a two years course which is aimed at producing business leaders. Comprising of 60 seats in total, this programme aims at offering course on nearly all subjects falling under the study of business administration.
