Desh Bhagat Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

DBEC is a private college which was set up in the year 2004 at Mandi Gobindgarh of Fatehgarh Sahib District of Punjab state. This is a co-educational institution that is affiliated and presents various engineering courses to intending students. DBEC has 102 faculty members to cater the need of quality education in various branches of engineering disciplines. 

DBEC has several facilities that would help foster the learning and all round development of the facility. To support this there are college hostels for both the sexes making it easy for students from other towns to find hostel accommodation. A good library is an information centre a source of nearly all kinds of academic materials that a learner is likely to use. The college has excellent IT facilities to ensure that the current teaching methodologies and the research activities done in the college are up to date with modern technology. Also required on the campus is a cafeteria where student may go for refreshment and socialisation. DBEC also has an auditorium which is used in organising different occasions and seminars hence promoting the campus life. To support practical learning in addition to the theoretical approach, the college provides physiological laboratories for the departments. Visiting faculty and students’ family members are accommodated in a guest room and a waiting area. Education is given with an on-campus health centre that tends to the basic first aid services to the students, and a gym where students go to exercise to help them keep fit.

There are five engineering disciplines available in Desh Bhagat Engineering College and all the programmes are B.Tech full time- Civil Engineering , Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology etc. These courses cut across all the engineering disciplines and afford students a wide chance to choose the courses of their preference and aspire to be.
