Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing, Amloh which was started in 2012 is situated at Village Sounti, Amloh, Punjab is a constituent college. The institute is further recognised from Indian Nursing Council (INC) to delivers quality education in the field of nursing. Currently, CIFBI has a faculty namely of 22 members, which presents nine courses at three degrees of study related to different aspects of nursing. 

Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing, offers great and versatile amenities necessary for enhancing the students’ performance and well-being. With regard to the accommodation, there are specially designated hostels for males and females which offer students decent accommodation. Every hospital has a well stocked library to provide a wide variety of books, directories, journals and other publications about nursing and related Topics. The institute values student health through provision of a medical facility to include first aid services. Concerning exercise and leisure, recreational and sports facilities that include courts is offered on campus. GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): The course also has 100 seats. 10+2 with science subjects passed students are eligible for the course.

ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife): Accommodating 100 intake seats, the programme is ideal for candidates who completed their 10+2. 

M.Sc Nursing: There are five different specializations available in M.Sc Nursing with 6 seats available for each of the following:

  • M.Sc Paediatric Nursing
  • M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing
  • M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing
  • M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing
  • M.Sc Community Health Nursing

Eligibility for such courses is normally a B.Sc Nursing degree and may include a selection process on the basis of studies record and maybe an entrance test or interview.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This too is available, but the number of seats is not stated. It is meant for registered nurses who desire to advance their qualifications.
