Deshbandhu B.Ed. College, located in the Murshidabad District of West Bengal, since its very inception in 2017, has been a nascent institution with the firm objective of shaping future educators. This co-educational college is located in the serene township of Jalangi, over a compact campus area measuring 1.01 acres. This college imparts two special courses in education with an enrolment of 340 students in total. With a total faculty strength of 18, Deshbandhu B.Ed. College ensures that a student gets personalized attention and a good-quality education. 

This includes facilities that support academics and the all-round development of students in the institution. Such sports facilities enable the development of physical fitness and team spirit for those with an interest in sports. The intake is equally divided between these two courses; an overall total of 200 seats is maintained.

Students are admitted strictly based on merit for the B.Ed. course according to norms and prescriptions of W.B.U.T.T.E.P.A; For D.EL.ED., the program adopts a similar merit-based admission policy under which the students are admitted based on marks secured at the qualifying examination and entrance examination.
