Devaki Amma Memorial College of Pharmacy, Chelembra was started in 2003, at Chelembra, Malappuram Dist Tamil Nadu – Kerala border, South India. It is accredited to AICTE and PCI and thus provides various pharmacy courses at different levels including undergraduate and postgraduate. Located on a 3-acre area, the college occupies 437 students and has 34 members of the teaching staff. Currently, the institute offers 7 courses in four degree programmes with concentrations across Several pharmaceutical disciplines.
To meet the learning and development needs of college students, Devaki Amma Memorial College of Pharmacy has multiple facilities. A modern digital library is a library with more than 6000 online journals and books from national and international authors helpful for pharmacy faculties and students. Drug information services are provided through the computer lab to author in charge of professional communications and academic presentations using internet connected computers and on-screen projector facilities. Modernised lab facilities from HPLC, UV Spectrophotometer to Dissolution Test Apparatus coupled with additional amenities of Board Room, Central Computer Centre, Conference Hall, library and Faculty room make it easier for the students to do their pharmaceutical research and practical analysis. It has girls hostel, cafeteria, multi-purpose hall for functions/ seminars and a health /first aid centre.
Devaki Amma Memorial College of Pharmacy provides all Pharmacist/ pharmacy related courses. The institute offers 7 full time programmes, which are at undergraduate, post graduate and doctorate level.

Devaki Amma Memorial College of Pharmacy follows norms based on the mark scores in the qualifying examinations for admission. To apply for B.Pharma as well as D.Pharma undergraduate courses, the student has to clear the higher secondary examination. The eligibility for postgraduate admissions in M.Pharma programmes tends to include results from the bachelor’s level coursework. The college follows the GPAT scores for admitting the candidates in postgraduate courses. Far from this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examinations from other states are considered at par with Kerala Higher Secondary Exam passes.
