DAMCOP Chelembra Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Devaki Amma Memorial College of Pharmacy, Chelembra (DAMCOP Chelembra) offers degrees at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in Pharmacy and has gained stature throughout the years. It is an AICTE and PCI-accredited institution that goes through intensive admission procedures meant to select qualified candidates onto the different pharmacy programs.

In fact, the admission process into the college is credit-based on the requisite marks attained in the qualifying examinations for admission into the respective courses. For example, obtaining admission into undergraduate courses such as B.Pharma and D.Pharma takes into consideration the higher secondary examination results, while postgraduate admissions for M.Pharma programs take into record results of a bachelor's-level coursework combined with GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) scores.

This college is also not exclusive in conducting its admission; it treats candidates who have passed qualifying examinations from states other than Kerala at par with those who have passed the Kerala Higher Secondary Exam.

Application Process

The Devaki Amma Memorial College of Pharmacy, Chelembra admission process depends on the program as follows:

1. Visit and download the application form from the official college website for the relevant program.

2. Fill the form with the correct details of a personal and educational nature.

3. For undergraduate programs (B.Pharma, D.Pharma, Pharm.D), the downloaded form should be accompanied with the necessary documents including: 

• 10th and 12th examination mark sheets, 
• Transfer certificate, 
• Conduct certificate, 
• Other documents as per the specification of the college

4. For Postgraduate programs (M.Pharma specializations): Application should include the completed application form, bachelor's degree mark sheets, GPAT score card, if applicable, and attach other required documents as mentioned in the application guidelines.

5. Pay the required application fee according to the college specifications.

6. Submit the completed application form and all required documentation before the deadline.

7. Wait for selection to take place. This is mainly based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, while for postgraduate courses GPAT scores will also be worth considering.

8. If part of the selection process, communication will be made with candidates who will be required to complete the admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment, within stipulated time frames.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: Admission to the B.Pharma program is based on the marks obtained in the higher secondary examination. This is a four-year undergraduate program, and there are 60 available seats at the college. For eligibility, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with relevant subjects.

D.Pharma: The D.Pharma program also has 60 seats available. Admissions are done based on the marks obtained by candidates in their qualifying examination, which is typically the higher secondary or equivalent exam.

Pharm.D: Out of the 30 seats available in this program, admission is based on the same procedure as that for B.Pharma by calculating marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

M.Pharma: DAMCOP Chelembra has four specializations that are in M.Pharma - Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry with an intake capacity of 15 seats in each specialization. Admissions are based on the performance of candidates in their bachelor degrees and GPAT scores.
