Dewan Law College, Meerut was established in the year 2004. The institute offers three 5-year integrated programs: BA LLB, B.Com LLB, and LLB. As one of the first-degree colleges in India, DLC offers a 2-year LLM program. An overall number of 360 seats are available for these undergraduate courses and additional seats for the LLM program. The purpose of these programs is to provide ample legal education both in theory and practical application in order to settle students in the messy legal environment.

The admission in Dewan Law College is made through a merit based admission procedure and the college follows the guideline as per their affiliating university Chaudhary Charan Singh University that was formerly known as Meerut University. Admission to the Under Graduate Programs, namely BA LLB, B.Com LLB, and LLB, is based on merit alone of candidates in the qualifying examination.
