Dhamait Sikshak Sikshan Mahavidyalaya, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, is an affiliated college established in 2014. This NCTE-approved institution focuses on teacher education. The compact 0.94-acre campus has a student enrolment of 188, and the faculty strength is 15. With only one degree course, that is, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), having an approved intake of 100 students annually, it suggests its focused approach towards teacher training.

The facilities available in the college are for the learning and development of students. One among them includes a two-storied boy's hostel, occupying about 550 square meters with 26 rooms, common areas, and a dining space. There is also a girl's hostel. It also has a computerised central library with more than 5,000 volumes of books on all subjects and technical journals, periodicals, and dailies. In addition, it also has a special collection of books in the departments of History, Cultural Studies, and Religion to facilitate the varied academic pursuits of the students.

Dhamait Sikshak Sikshan Mahavidyalaya offers only one course, the two-year full-time B.Ed. programme. 

The admission process is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college follows the admission policies set by the state government of West Bengal and the affiliating university.
