Dhamangaon Rly, Maharashtra, is Dhamangaon Education Society's College of Engineering and Technology. The college was established in 2009 on a 10-acre campus. This affiliated college offers various engineering programs. DESCOET is awarded 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council for quality in education. With an enrollment of 205 students and a faculty strength of 38, the college provides an ideal learning environment to new engineers. The institution offers four full-time BE programs in the various disciplines of engineering.

The college imparts four full-time BE courses, and all these courses run for four years. These four courses are: BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering. Courses are offered in full-time mode to provide sufficient training in the related fields.

Admission to the courses offered by DESCOET is governed through a policy that allows an intake of meritorious students into these different disciplines. The college admits students through the scores obtained in two major entrance examinations: the JEE Main and the Maharashtra CET.
