Dhananjayrao Gadgil Institute of Cooperative Management - DGICM, Nagpur was established in the year 1972. The institute comes under the control of the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), New Delhi. The Institution is affiliated to RSTM, Nagpur University and got the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE, New Delhi and DTE, Mumbai. MIBS Nagpur is accredited with a ‘B’ grade by C-PEC, BIRD, Lucknow, NIOS, New Delhi. The core syllabus of the MBA course has been developed by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad.

DGICM is a 50% grant-in-aid organization of the Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, New Delhi and 50% grant-in-aid from the Government of Maharashtra, Department of Cooperation. Dhananjayrao Gadgil Institute of Cooperative Management provides facilities to its students such as Library, Cafeteria, Health Care, Infrastructure, Auditorium, Sports, Guest Room/ Waiting Room and many more.
