Dhanvantari College of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 2008, affiliated with the Palamuru University, Mahboobnaga. It is a co-educational college and is located adjacent to college campus on a 2 acre of land which is completely devoted to pharmaceutical education and research. Recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the college provides the Bachelor of Pharmacy as well as the Master of Pharmacy degrees. Each academic year, Dhanvantari College has a total enrolment of about 233 students and teaching faculty 56 members are available therefore suitable student/teacher ratio is maintained to focus students need and quality education is being delivered.
Dhanvantari College of Pharmaceutical Sciences has numerous amenities that will help improve the learning environment and personal development of students. Accompanying facilities of a modern library include a rich collection of pharmaceutical literature and methodological supplies. Dhanvantari College of Pharmaceutical Sciences has a total of three full time programme offering two degree levels. An integrated five and half year course Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) programme constitute a central part of the undergraduate studies with an approved strength of 60 students. At the postgraduate level, the college provides two specialised M.Pharma programmes, M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis. Pharmaceutical sciences are offered as these courses are intended to accommodate interests within the spectrum of pharmacy.
