Dhareshwar College of Education started in 2008, is located in Pune and is widely known as a prestigious college specializing in the field of education or training teachers. This co-educated college is situated in Indraprashta Nagar, Dhayari, Pune and functions in affiliation with the University’s norms and guidelines and also approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located in a small 2.2 acre land the college provides a niche for students who wish to be trained as teachers. The college also has interests in health and fitness and there is a playground for yoga, volley ball, kho- kho and other sports. Such extra facilities include an auditorium for holding events such as seminars and IQA, separate hostel facilities for Boys and girls with basic necessities and a hygienic canteen that supplies quality foods to its customers-The students and faculty members. 

This ensures that Dhareshwar College of Education produces quality teachers for the Zone, region and nation through its B. Ed program. This is a two years full-time course that has an approved student capacity of fifty students. B.Ed programme lays down the understanding, skills and professional experience as required by a prospective teacher. Although the college currently mentors trainees for one degree program only, their course offers a broad coverage in their practical-based training to produce professionally competent graduates to face education system challenges.
