Dhemaji Polytechnic, established in 2017, is an affiliated college located in Simen Chapori, Dhemaji, Assam. This institution is owned by the government and got its approval from All India Council for Technical Education, to make sure good quality technical education. The institute, located at Dhemaji Polytechnic, Dhemaji, offers three diploma programmes in the engineering disciplines with a total intake of 440 students. Dhemaji Polytechnic offers full-time courses to the aspiring engineers. 

Dhemaji Polytechnic's commitment towards technical education gets reflected in the well-planned curriculum structure and modern facilities. Various facilities are available to improve the learning environment for students at Dhemaji Polytechnic. The college library serves as a learning space that helps students acquire proper educational materials. The alloted intake for all courses together is 180, in which each programme accommodates 60 students. This limited intake makes sure personal attention and quality education to each and every student. Although specific information regarding the number of graduates is not available, this will no doubt produce well-rounded professionals for the engineering sector through an orientation that focuses on real-life, practical skills and knowledge relevant to industry.

Admission to Dhemaji Polytechnic is strictly based on merit, based on the candidate's performance in the admission test. The allotment of polytechnic and branch of engineering will be based on the merit of the admission test at the time of the interview. This process places students in various programmes according to their capabilities and interest.  Although information about scholarship offers or some of the notable alumni could not be found, the persistance of Dhemaji Polytechnic is to make sure that its dreams for quality technical education in Assam becomes a reality which is well-placed in the structured programmes and modern facilities.
