Dhote Bandhu Science College is an oldest college of its own type situated at Gondia, it's under the umbrella of RTMNU (Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University), Nagpur. In various scientific subjects, undergraduate and postgraduate studies with Ph. D. and P. H. D., which is pursued on the lines of merit based upon the principles given by the government rules.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc (Mathematics Group and Biology Group): Admission to B.Sc programs is on merit in the qualifying examinations (10+2) as per RTMNU guidelines. The college offers specializations in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and other science subjects. Students must have studied science subjects in their 10+2 education to be eligible.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): The admission to BCA is based on merit that considers the marks scored in the qualifying 10+2 examination. It is open for students from all streams (Science, Commerce, or Arts) if mathematics is taught as a subject in 10+2.

 M.Sc in Computer Science, Chemistry, Botany, Microbiology, Physics For M.Sc courses, the college provides 22 seats in each specialization. The admissions are on merit basis as far as the qualifying bachelor's degree examination is concerned in the concerned subject. 

B.Voc (Software Development and Food Processing): These vocational undergraduate programs have merit-based admission on the basis of marks obtained in the 10+2 qualifying examination. The procedure of admission is as per RTMNU regulations.

Ph.D in Chemistry, Botany, Physics: Admission for the Ph.D programs at this college follows the admission process as prescribed by RTMNU. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in the corresponding subject may apply for admission. The admission procedure may have an entrance test and/or interview as set by the university norms.
