Degree-wise Admission Process

The Dibrugarh Polytechnic runs intensive three-year diploma courses.Training for the following diploma courses takes place at all levels :

Diploma in Civil Engineering: Number of approved intakes for the program-60. Candidates should have Mathematics and Science as major subjects at Secondary Education level. The admission procedure might include qualifications and an entrance test.

Undergraduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: The school has 40 approved intakes for this program, which is mainly targeted at students interested in mechanical systems and processes involved in manufacturing. The admissions criteria would be similar as to that of civil engineering, but more focused on the subjects taken in secondary education by the candidate.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering also has 40 approved intake. Prospective students must have physics and mathematics. The examination will be based on their qualifying examination and entrance examination.
