Dimoria College, Kamrup came into being in the year 1979. This affiliated college, located in Khetri, Guwahati, Assam, spreads over an area of 18 acres. With 8 degree programmes and 31 courses, it offers a wide variety of programmes. Dimoria College has a total enrolment of 1,958 students and a faculty strength of 82, with a balanced gender ratio of 820 female and 717 male students. The specialisations include courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Folklore, Physics, Botany, Geology, Environment Management, and Eco-Restoration. 

Dimoria College has numerous amenities to support the learning and development process of students. Its library is open from 9 am to 5 pm, with more than 18,000 books, national and international magazines, periodicals, and journals. It is automated using book bank software by Pacific Technologies. For the students who have a penchant for sports, the college has a big playground, a basketball court, and various sports equipment such as those for cricket, football, volleyball, and table tennis. The institution also offers well-equipped modern laboratory facilities, especially in the science and technology departments, with devices such as GPS and a new air-conditioned computer lab funded by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. 

The college offers total of 31 courses, the courses available here at the institution range from 25 undergraduate programmes to 6 postgraduate programmes, all being full-time, such as BA hons. Courses, and B.Sc Hons. courses etc.
