The Directorate of Distance Education Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore is one of the specialized part of the Devi Ahila Vishwavidyalaya University Indore to deliver Distance Education. This institution has been placed in Indore- the capital city of the state of Madhya Pradesh – has been offering higher education to many categories of students. He Directorate keeps an authorized strength of faculty at 3,which gives a niche to the University, specialized in delivering distance education exclusively. 

The Directorate has its campus in IMS Building of the Takshashila Campus on Khandwa Road, Indore. It is strategically located to serve the learners from different parts of the region due to the available strategy. The facility is at the moment running distance learning for its programs with special emphasis on management programs.

Consequently, in the year 2014, the Directorate of Distance Education could only offer one main program – the MBA program. In fact the program offers the flexibility and breadth of management education that the institute stands for.
