The affiliated college known as Disha Educational Institute lies in Howrah of West Bengal, India, which started its journey in 2014. Located in the beautiful village of Serpur this institute has been producing quality educators for over eight years. The college which is built over a 3-acre campus is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) that guarantees quality education in teaching profession. The enrolment capacity of  200 students whereas the teachers strength of the institute is 16 for providing best qualitative emphasis on the education system.

The institute boasts of offering core commodity that supports the learning needs of learner in one way or the other. To ensure that the students have a ready source of information, the college is endowed with a standard library to support the educational needs of the students in addition to being a research institute. The school also has specific sporting facilities for those who are interested in sports activities inorder to ensure that students balance between work and play is well observed. Aspies to the need for technology in the current learning environment, Disha Educational Institute has employed (IT) facilities coupled by offering students appropriate information technology skills to enable modern learning environment. Further, the college provides enough parking area to the faculty members, employees, and students as well to provide a better solution to the problem.

At the moment Disha Educational Institute provides the students with two full-time programmes that are connected with education for teachers. The B.Ed program currently offers hundred seats to teach in secondry/higher secondary level. The next is D.El.Ed admitting 50 students to train teachers to teach in primary classes. Both programmes last for two years in total, and equip participants with profound theoretical knowledge as well as practical teaching experience.

The admission process at Disha Educational Institute follows the policies in the state, and the University standard regulation. Eligibility for admission. For B.Ed and D.El.Ed programs, admissions are done based on the merit maintaining the percentage acquired in the qualifying examination.
