District Institute of Education and Training, DIET, Kokrajhar was established in 1989 as an independent teacher education institute. Serving a co-educational facility that is situated at Gourang Nwgwr, Kokrajhar Tea Estate, Assam, India, this institute is very crucial for imparting the future educators. Located on a spacious 7.27-acre campus and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), DIET Kokrajhar maintains a favourable learning environment.

DIET Kokrajhar has modern amenities in store, which can help in the improvement of the learning process of students. The institute has an air of rich library facilities, an important treasure trove for the aspiring teachers.
