District Institute of Education and Training, Perambalur, was set up in the year of 2016; It is a stand alone institute specialising in teachers’ education. This institution is a co-educational school established in Tamil Nadu, India, and affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to meet the standard quality of the course dealing with teachers training. DIET Perambalur is spread across 5.5 acres which enable the faculty to cater primarily to the B.Ed students. At present the institute has only 16 students and faculty of seven people thus creating and maintaining family atmosphere inside the institute where professional students’ and faculty’s relation is regarded as the academic family.

The facilities available in this school which will facilitate the effective learning of students include the following. This institute has well-sized and equipped classrooms to provide an effective learning environment to the faculty as well as the students.
