Nawanshahr based Doaba Polytechnic College was established in 2009 affiliated to Industrial Training Department which is situated in Punjab, India. This institution occupies an area of 5 acres, it is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The college administers diploma programmes in various engineering disciplines for a total enrolment of students in 211. The college has a team of 41 well-qualified faculty members and maintains a reasonable student faculty ratio to provide personal attention to each student.

Engineering at the campus includes very practical wise learning through well accredited laboratories in mechanical, electrical, computer science and electronics departments. The college took a total intake approval of 300 students for these courses where Mechanical Engineering offered the maximum of 90 seats and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Civil Engineering offered 60 seats each.
