Dogra Degree College, Jammu: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Dogra Degree College Jammu was founded in 2008 and is an affiliated college in Bari Brahmana, Jammu and Kashmir. The herein described educational facility is located on a very small piece of land of 1.2 acres and has been expanding its programmes and facilities gradually. The total student enrolment in the college is 315 students and the faculty strength of the college is of 30 members. Dogra Degree College offers three undergraduate programmes. There are three major categories namely. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Bachelor of Arts (BA) all of which are full time, taking three academic years to complete.

There are Several facilities which are found in Dogra Degree College that aims at improving the learning experience of students and other activities of the college. A magnificent library forms the central focus having all types of books, journals and reference materials required for the university. The library as well as fully computerised to enable the college incorporate and implement the use of modern technology in instructing the students. For the students who need to be accommodated the college offers different hostels the boys’ and girls’ hostels respectively. The boys’ hostel is situated in a close proximity with the campus and on the other hand, the girls’ hostel is newly constructed building within the college campus and provides a safe environment. 

Every undergraduate course offered at Dogra Degree College has certain number of seats which are to be filled through merit alone. There are three major categories namely. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Bachelor of Arts (BA) all of which are full time, taking three academic years to complete. The learners are also assessed on their performance in their qualifying exams so that they are prepared to meet the rigors of their desired courses. 

The college has a very simple admission process for any candidate who would like to get an opportunity to study courses of their choice in the college.
