Don Bosco Degree College, Hyderabad, was established in 1999, as an affiliated college in the dynamic city of Hyderabad in the state of Telangana. Founded in 1998 the Northwest Institute of Educational Sciences is located in a restricted 1.8 acres of land area sultanbagh erragadda and it has been proactively providing quality education to the young generation. The college currently has 358 students and is staffed by 21 hardworking members of the teaching faculty. 

The Don Bosco Degree College has many facilities that help to enrich the learning process and personal growth of each learner. The resourceful library is a knowledge center which enables the students to access current resources and information. The college caters for the sportsmen and sportswomen for those who have interest in sports and body building by directing them to sports facilities. It appreciates the value of information and communication technology in current society and has provided resources and facilities in this area. The college also provides a canteen for students to take break and socialise with colleagues and other students since it also serves the college staff. Facilities such as English lab, Electronics lab etc makes it proud of the college where students get the real feel of what is it to learn in laboratories. 

The courses offered at Don Bosco Degree College include a total of four full time undergraduate programmes thus providing for a array of options. The Science stream includes two B.Sc programmes. One is Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science and the other one is Mathematics, Electronics and Computer Science. For Commerce stream the college has B.Com and B.Com with Computer Application for those interested. All these programmes are offered as three-year full time courses aimed at giving students a first class grounding in their areas of specialisation.
