Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) - MMS, Mumbai was established in 2001. This is one of the pioneers of academic institutes at Kurla in Mumbai. It offers a total of 5 courses: 4 full-time B.Tech programs and 1 full-time MMS course. The B.Tech programs involve Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering, with an intake of 60 each in all except Mechanical, which is 120. The MMS program is admitted to 60 students.

The admission process of DBIT Mumbai is centrally done. Only if a candidate satisfies the eligibility criteria set by the institute, will the institute offer admission to B.Tech programs. For the MMS course, the institute admits students on the basis of their performance in entrance tests such as MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, and XAT. The scores accepted for management admissions are those of MAH MBA CET, GMAT, XAT, ATMA, and CMAT.
