DPM Institute of Education, Meerut: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The DPM Institute of Education, established in 2004, is one of the premier educational institutions situated in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. This is a co-educational institute, which is annexed to the university and is focused on the provision of quality education in the field of teacher training. Situated in a vast area of 5.07 acres, the institute has been accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which clearly proves the institute’s standard. Having a total of 450 students and 25 faculty members, the education that the DPM Institute of Education brings to potential teachers is fundamentally sound. 

It boasts of having made available an array of infrastructures that provide a great foundation for education for its students. The available resource centre can also be accessed for updated textbooks, research encyclopaedias, journals and other referred sources of information. And it is not just a collection of books but a premise that is promoted to enlighten and inspire the patrons. The institute also provides modern IT facilities, with good computer labs maintained so that each student gets the right tools. As far as extracurricular activities are concerned, especially sports and other related activities, the college boasts of well-equipped sports fields and a fully equipped gym. It makes it easier for us, the students, to host events and seminars and to exhibit talents, among many other benefits. 

DPM Institute of Education currently offers two full-time courses: The two training programmes offered at]? Bachelor of Arts (BA), which is a three-year programme, and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), a two-year programme. The BA programme will be taking 140 students, and the B.Ed. programme will be taking 200 students, therefore making a total of 340 seats. Developed and structured to prepare students for professional careers in the field of education and other related areas. 

DPM Institute of Education has merit basis for admission, especially for the B.ED. programme. The intake is done according to the percentage score secured in the qualifying or entrance test conducted by the university or board ruled by the state government and university. This helps the institute identify those students who have worked hard and deserve to continue with their studies at the institute. 

Currently there is no available information on the scholarship per se but the institute and its staff do care about their students and their academic endeavours. The institute is situated at Bijnore Road, Behsuma Distt, Meerut-250404; thus, it is well situated and all its surroundings are well suited for learning.
