Dr. Anita Baruah Sarmah College of Education was started in the year 2004, making it one of the top institutions in Guwahati, Assam, for disseminating the value-based education system. This institution is a co-educational college affiliated with Gauhati University and is dedicated to developing future teachers. The institution stretches over an 11-acre campus with a good environment for training and education. Its faculty strength includes 27 dedicated teachers who aim at providing quality education to the students admitted into various offered courses. The admission process to Dr. Anita Baruah Sarmah College of Education is done based on the guidelines of Gauhati University. Admissions to the B.Ed course are made through a Common Entrance Test conducted centrally by Gauhati University. For entering the institution, students should secure requisite cut-off marks in this test.
