Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology (BIBT), an existing educational organisation in Jaipur Rajasthan which started its functioning in 2008. Located in the largest industrial area of Jaipur named Malviya Industrial Area, this is an affiliated college where the area of the college campus is only 0.5955 acres. BIBT is unique in the field of biotechnology professional education since it proffers a plethora of programmes to foster the next generation Biotechnology professional. The institute boasts of 355 total enrolment and 14 faculties to enable the institute regulate the student to faculty ratio hence improving quality delivery.

Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology has a variety of modem facilities to support the learning of its students which include the following. The knowledge resource centre having central library and information centre contains more than 1,700 books, journals and other research documents in and around biotechnology and its related fields. It also offers other digital classrooms through the computer and laptop facilities for learning. The laboratories in BIBT consist necessary infrastructures for central practical and research works to meet the international standard for producing global competent students.

Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology has quite limited offering and provides only three full-time programmes altogether and at two degrees at most. The institute offers only one B.Sc. in Biotechnology and two M.Sc. programmes in Biotechnology and Microbiology respectively. These programmes are intended to meet the increasing need of qualified human capital in the biotechnology field.
