Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture for Women, Pune was a premier institute exclusively set up in 1994 for the purpose of architectural education for women. The affiliated college in Karve Nagar, Pune has a sprawling campus over 26 acres. BNCA is accredited to NAAC, approved by Council of Architecture and All India Council for Technical Education. This co-ed college has 931 students and 29 faculty, with 5 programs at 3 degree levels. BNCA is known for architecture, landscape architecture, environmental architecture, and digital architecture. Only women are admitted here.
The college facilities are of a nature to ably support these academic programs. It has over 8,500 books-including textbooks, reference books, and audiovisuals-and subscribes to 45 national and international journals. BNCA IT infrastructure is of a very high order with high-tech computer graphics studios, fully equipped with more than 360 advanced computers, LAN and wireless internet connectivity, digital cameras, printers, plotters etc. The campus also has a fully air-conditioned, acoustically treated auditorium with a capacity of 280 people, fully equipped with the latest audio-visual systems and internet facilities. BNCA offers sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games and a fully equipped gymnasium to take care of the physical well-being of the students.
BNCA has one comprehensive range of programs in Architecture. The undergraduate course is one: B. Arch; three postgraduate courses: M.Arch in Digital Architecture, Environmental Architecture, and Landscape Architecture; a course leading to a Ph.D. degree in Architecture. All full-time courses are reflective of the institute's commitment to the very intensive, hands-on architectural education.

BNCA admission is done differently in different courses. The candidate for admission to the B. Arch course must qualify through an aptitude in architecture conducted through National Testing Agency's JEE or through a National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted through Council of Architecture. In the M. Arch Course, admissions will be provided through MAH-M. ARCH-CET, which is conducted through the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. BNCA accepts scores of only such national-level prominent entrance examinations as JEE Main and NATA.
