Dr. BNM Rural Ayurvedic Medical College established in the year 1992 in Vijayapura, Karnataka and is one of the well-equipped and pioneering colleges in providing education in Ayurvedic field in Karnataka. It is located in Smt. This is a co-educational self financed affiliated college situated in College Road, Vijayapur and is approved by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM). Located on an 8-acres of land, the college provides 6 courses under two degree programmes with a total student enrolment of 217 and 41 members of faculty.
Dr. BNM Rural Ayurvedic Medical College have many facilities to help students in their academic and personal development. A well-equipped library has a collection of more than ten thousand books facility of separate seating for boys and girls are available. This establishment presents modern practical laboratories for each department to enhance effective practice place. The clinical experience is available through a 100 bedded Ayurvedic hospital that has ultra modern Panchakarma facility. For physical fitness, the college has provisions of a gym, and various sports facilities available over an area of 2 acres. An auditorium is used in different activities and seminars, and the information technology facilities meet learners’ present-day demands.
