Dr. BR Ambedkar College of Law, Bangalore, is a tenth year affiliated law college situated in Bangalore, Karnataka started in the year 2004. Authorised by the Bar Council of India, this is the premier institution offering professional legal education. Located in a small area of 2.5 acres, the college provides two specific courses in law with a combined strength of 395 students. At present, the institute has a teaching strength of 19 members to maintain the faculty-student ratio in its students’ favour.
Dr. BR Ambedkar College of Law has set a goal of making sure that it provides the right atmosphere that improve students performance. The college has put in place facilities to aid students in achieving their dreams. The library provides a vast area for reading with a computerised catalogue. As to reference materials, it houses a large number of law reporters, journals statutes and periodicals in order to make sure that the students are informed on current development in the field of law. The college also has hostels for boys and girls. Separated with a large space for rooms with attached bath, where the safety of the students is considered paramount.
Dr. BR Ambedkar College of Law offers two full-time law courses. The two programmes offered here include a 3-year LLB programme and a 5-year integrated BA LLB programme. The seats of the BA LLB Integrated course is approved to be 120 and there are promising opportunities for students to take up law.
In view of the cumulative percentage scored in the qualifying examination, students are granted admissions to Dr. BR Ambedkar College of Law. The college considers the cumulative record and relevant entrance examinations tests.
