Dr. BR Ambedkar Government Degree College, Amla, since its establishment in 1987, is catering to the need of  higher education in the Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. It is affiliated college situated in Amla and it has been providing a good platform to students to build their future for last 33 years. Thus, it offers a variety of 7 courses in 4 programmes to its 1,318 students with the help of 5 members of the faculty staff. The college provides a combination of undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in Arts, Commerce and Science stream to meet the diverse need of students.

Dr. BR Ambedkar Government Degree College boasts of providing a number of services that aid learning as well as the growth of the students. The richly equipped reading hall in each of the college acts as informational centre to support academic endeavors and research. To those with love for sports and games, the college provides with a decent gymnasium and other related amenities in order to maintain a perfect connection between mind and body. It also has well developed laboratories, which accommodate practical lessons for science students to max their potential. 

Dr. BR Ambedkar Government Degree College has seven courses to offer all of which are full time ones.
