Dr. BR Ambedkar Government Model Residential Polytechnic for Women, Karimnagar, is one of the reputed institute which aims at offer quality technical education for women. This government-owned polytechnic was set up in 1993, and is situated in Karimnagar in the newly formed Telangana state. The SBTET is associated with the institute and officially acknowledged by the AICTE which is the All India Council for Technical Education. Dr. BR Ambedkar Government Model Residential Polytechnic for Women is offering a numbered set of diploma courses which is all full-time programmes. The institute provides three diploma courses. Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. All these have with-intake approval of 60 students, which sums to 180 across all courses offered.
