D.Y. Patil Institute of Management and Entrepreneur Development.The admission cycle of DYPIMED usually runs in tune with the academic year, which begins around August-September. The institute takes major intakes from state-level entrance exams, primarily through the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test, known as MAH MBA CET for its MBA course. This exam is considered a prominent test in Maharashtra and plays a crucial role in the assessment of the student's potential and aptitude in management studies.

One must possess a bachelor's degree from any acknowledged university to qualify for 180 intakes towards an MBA course.The next academic year MAH MBA CET will be conducted from 16th March to 18th March, 2025. Hence, students must keep that date in their minds and be prepared for them. It is because the test tests all management aptitude-related aspects, so it plays a vital role in the admission process of DYPIMED's MBA course.

Application Process 

The application procedure for the MBA program in DYPIMED is quite a procedural affair. It consists of the following steps:

1. MAH MBA CET Registration: A candidate must get himself registered first and then appear for MAH MBA CET, which will take place from March 16-18, 2025.

2. Exam Preparation: The candidates can prepare themselves by referring to the preparation tips and mock tests available on the website of MAH MBA CET.

3. Admit Card download: Available online at the official website at least one day prior to the date of actual examination.

4. MAH MBA CET : Candidates need to appear on scheduled MAH MBA CET date

5. Declaration of result for MAH MBA CET.

6. Application to DYPIMED: If the outcome appears, then a candidate can apply for DYPIMED. The institute should have its own application form where one has to fill it with care.

7. Submission of Documents: A candidate has to submit all his documents. Those are generally consisted of:

• MAH MBA CET score card
• Bachelor's degree certificate and mark sheets
• 10th and 12th standard certificates
• Valid ID proof
• Passport size photographs

8. Selection Process: DYPIMED has further set selectivity criteria for it as selection procedure involves a group discussion/personal interview only.

9. Merit List and Admission: Based on the score at MAH MBA CET and more criteria devised for the same DYPIMED will form its merit list shortlisted candidates on which get enrolled.

10. Fee Payment and Admission: After admission, the students are supposed to complete the admission process by paying the fees and submitting other documents as required by the institute.

Degree-wise Admission Process

MBA: DYPIMED has intake approval for 180 seats. It admits students into the program through the performance in MAH MBA CET. Eligibility criteria: one must be having a bachelor's degree from any recognized university along with some percentage marks.

MCA: There are 120 seats available for the MCA program. The number of intakes under the MCA program cannot be specified; however, the requirement to get into the MCA program is largely a bachelor's degree in any discipline if it is related to computer science or mathematical orientation.
