Founded in 1987, Dr. Ghali College is an affiliated college in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, located in Gadhinglaj. The institute is approved by the NAAC and offers different undergraduate and postgraduate courses to students. It boasts of a campus measuring 2 acres, having a total student enrolment of 2,478, of which 902 are male students and 1,595 are female students. A faculty of 125 supports the institution and offers 13 courses in 8 totally modified degree programs, specialized in arts, commerce, and science disciplines. 

The college is wholly committed to the development of the students amidst a total learning environment, surrounded by a lot of facilities for their academic and personal growth. The library is well-stocked with over 1.5 million text books, 2 million reference books, and can also avail numerous journals and e-journals. The institute has an indoor court for carom, chess, and table tennis, and also an outdoor stadium with a 400-meter track for athletics, cricket, football, and hockey. A volleyball court is also available. To this end, the college lays a great deal of emphasis on technology integration, with well-equipped computer labs hosting over 40 systems in support of the students' academic pursuits in computer science, mathematics, and electronics.

On the undergraduate degree level, the students can take up BA, B.Com, B.Sc, and BBA. Besides M.Com in Accountancy, M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry and Microbiology, and M.Phil in English for postgraduate studies, the college also conducts MA programs in Sociology, Economics, Hindi, and English. B.Com in Information Technology is another innovative course provided by the college to fulfill the fast-changing needs of the industry.
