Dr. J.J. Magdum Polytechnic, Jaysingpur, was established in the year 1984 and is one of the prominent technical institutes of Kolhapur. This college is affiliated with the institute for conducting diploma programs in various branches of engineering technologies. The institute is located in an area of just 0.22 acres of land. The intake of the students is 150 each year, and it is balanced well with 19 dedicated professionals within the support system of faculty. The polytechnic conducts five full-time courses leading to the award of diplomas, namely in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Industrial Electronics, Computer Science Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
