MCSGOC Lucknow: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Dr. M.C. Saxena College of Education, Lucknow, commonly known as MCSGOC Lucknow is the best established college in the year 2009. This college is co-educational located on the Mall Road, Dubagga - IIM Bypass, near Barawankala, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, affiliated to a specific university and is focused on teacher education. NAAC accredited, and NCTE approved MCSGOC Lucknow is working on 1-acre campus. The college offers 2 degrees with a total students enrolment of 144 and has a faculty of 17 members. 

There are various infrastructural facilities that provide a perfect ambience for the proper learning experience and development of the students in its own way. There are separate hostels for girls and boys, with each room provided with three seats, lounge areas, pantry, and many other amenities. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in the campus so that students can easily access a broadband internet connection at the speed of 2 Mbps. 

The library has above 2000 titles and 3000 volumes subscribed, along with different national and international journal subscriptions. The institution is also delnet-enabled; there is digital access to more than 1 million books. Specialised laboratories include Science Lab, ET Lab, and a Language Lab for practical learning purposes. There is also a multipurpose auditorium with the capacity for 150 people, presentation, and practice for public speaking. The college has its cafeteria and medical facilities besides fully air-conditioned computer centre, gymnasium, and sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. 

The total sanctioned intake for the entire programmes is 150 seats. Out of these, 100 seats are sanctioned for B.Ed and 50 for D.El.Ed. The courses under both programmes are framed such that the student is ready to join teaching as a career. 

Admission is strictly merit-based in Dr. M.C. Saxena College of Education. Hence, with regard to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, the college would follow the numerous admission policies formulated by the state government and U.T. Administration and the corresponding university. The college focuses upon imparting quality education in the field of teaching and envisions success for students at various levels of specialisation for a successful career in education.
