The Dr. M.G.R. Chockalingam Arts College, affiliated to the University of Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India and was inaugurated in the year 1997. The college occupies spacious 8 acres of land and provides students with 11 total courses within 8 programmes. Currently, the institution has registered a student population of 1,234 and faculty staff of 53 establishing the right atmosphere for scholar ship. Considering the fact that the college has embraced the culture of offering quality education, it offers specialisations in arts, business, computer science and mathematics at both the undergraduate and post graduate levels.

Dr. M.G.R. Chockalingam Arts College has the privilege of featuring attractive brands of modern facilities to support learning initiatives. Its, academic facilities consist of a rich library that owns about 10000 books, available over 10 journals and magazines. His vast collection has been highly useful to students apart from faculty members. The institution also has well equipped laboratories fitted with modern tools and equipment which facilitate practical learning exercises to be conducted.

In our college we have provision of various courses which gives opportunity for students to develop interest and qualify them in their chosen field. Today, the institution offers 11 courses; these are full time undergraduate and full time post graduate programmes. All the course programmes fall under several faculties namely Arts, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Mathematics. At the undergraduate level, the programmes offered to students include; Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce , Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). Started in the post graduate level, the college provides higher education in M.Com, M.Sc in Computer Science, IT and Mathematics.
