The Dr. Muscu Madhusudan Reddy College of Physical Education of Nalgonda in Telangana is a specialised College for Physical Education. This co-educational college was set up in the year 2012 and is an affiliated college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Being located on a large area of land of 36 acres, the college provides two full time courses in physical education. Total capacity of students taken per year is 176 and the faculty members are 15 which offers an environment conducive for learning for those students interested in physically education. Dr. Muscu Madhusudan Reddy College of Physical Education offers two full-time courses: The academic qualifications of Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) and Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed). The B.P.Ed programme has been accorded an intake capacity of one hundred students and the M.P.Ed programme has an intake of fifty students. Each programme is structured for students to finish in two years and at the end of the programme the student will be equipped with adequate knowledge and skills in physical education. The college is full to capacity with the total enrolment tallying with the intake capacity of 176 students.

For the B.P.Ed programme, the student’s admission is decided by an entrance test, which is a sports aptitude test, physical efficiency test, and the scores from the exam currently passed by the student. The M.P.Ed programme is also planned in the same way, but they conduct written examination and interview also.
