The technical institution, Dr. Natubhai P. Patel Polytechnic in the city of Mehsana, came into existence in the year 2014. One of the major institutions affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, it falls under the governance of the government of Gujarat with permission from the AICTE. It has a set of diverse diploma courses in engineering disciplines. Having an affluent campus of 5 acres, the institute accommodates a student enrolment capacity of 364 students and 19 faculty members. With a commitment towards technical education, the polytechnic has four well-designed Diploma courses to make the students knowledgeable in their respective areas of discipline besides acquire practical skills during training.

Dr. Natubhai P. Patel Polytechnic has in total four full-time regular diploma courses. The four courses offered are as follows: Regular courses under different streams of engineering. It balances the intake of 60 students in each program, thereby allowing the personalized attention that is given by the institute and also optimum utilization of resources for specialization in the respective fields.
