Dr. Palpu Memorial SNDP Yogam College of Education, Thrissur was established in the year 1995, is one of the reputed college aimed to cultivate young educators. This co-educational college is situated in Kodungallur, Elthuruth, Thrissur, Kerala and it is an affiliated college supported by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE). The college has one specialty areas of learning in education for the teachers.

Dr. Palpu Memorial SNDP Yogam College of Education has a number of learning amenities that improve the learning process of the college students. Dr. Palpu Memorial SNDP Yogam College of Education offers only one course, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. It takes two years to complete and offer courses in both the theory and application of education. The college is able to limit the programmes’ intakes to a total of 50 students so that every student gets the attention and quality tutorial session he or she requires.

Student intake is determined through the results of qualifying examinations or entrance tests or any other tests that may be set down by the authorities.
