Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Girls Polytechnic, Amravati was established in 1983 as a premier institution to impart quality technical education exclusively to girls. The affiliated college is located at Shivaji Nagar, Amravati, Maharashtra, on a 5-acre campus. This institution is approved by AICTE, and it offers two diploma courses. The polytechnic has a strength of 10 faculty members; therefore, the student-to-faculty ratio is excellent, thus providing individual attention and counseling to students.

Both the courses have an approved intake of 54 seats each, thereby totaling 108 seats for all combined courses.
