DRIT, or Dr. Radhakrishnan Institute of Technology, was established in 2010 and is at Jaipur in Rajasthan. Located off the Ajmer Road close to the Mahendra World City, this affiliated college occupies about 4.9 acres of pieces of land. DRIT is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which guarantees its quality in providing engineering disciplines. The enrolment capacity of the institute is 794 and the faculty strength is 67, which clearly depicts that it provide appropriate environment for learning and development.
DRIT features a number of amenities for the improvement of the student experience. The campus has well needed hostels for boys and girls where students are given an opportunity to feel at home regardless of their status or origin. Many accommodation facilities like these hostels provide services like provision of balanced diet, television and indoor games plus internet service. The information service providing centre is the central library consisting of about 18000 books, 200 CDs/DVDs and e’facility like DELNET. Sports enthusiasts have a wide sporting arena in the shape of grounds and courts for cricket, football, volley ball and badminton along with indoor and outdoor games to strengthen the students physically.
There are five B.Tech programmes and that are of four years full-time in DRIT. These courses are offered for various branches of engineering and give the students ample of choices to select. The courses offered are Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, and Electronics and communications.

Admission to DRIT is based on merit and criterion fixed for admission of the students. Procedures concerning admission are not elaborated, nevertheless, admission to engineering institutes generally requires performance in national or state level examinations for B.Tech. REAP is state level entrance test for admission in engineering courses offered by various University and College in Rajasthan, DRIT accepts REAP.
