Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Mahavidyalaya, Raebareli, was established in the year 2005; the college is affiliated with Purvanchal University in Uttar Pradesh. The institute has approval for the vast courses offered under different disciplines from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Stretched across a large campus of 7.0869 acres of land, the college has a total student enrolment of 1,473 with support from a faculty of 21 members. It has four courses to its list of offerings, three of which are degree classes in the faculties of Education, Hindi, Geography, and Arts. The college solemnly pledges to provide an ideal environment to all students.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Mahavidyalaya offers a total of four full-time courses that are further stratified into both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Disciplines that the courses offered can be rouged to cater to a variety of academic interests. The BA programme is a three-year undergraduate course. The MA in Hindi and MA in Geography are 2-year postgraduate courses. The college also offers a two-year programme of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) designed especially for teacher aspirants. This programme has an approved intake of 50, which speaks a lot about the college's concern for teacher education. Even though it hasn't stated the seats for other courses directly, still the total student intake of the college is 1,473 students, which shows quite a big capacity in all the courses running.
