Dr. R.G. Bhoyar Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research came into existence in 2009 being a private institution involved in providing education in the field of pharmacy. This affiliated college is situated at the Wardha district of Maharashtra state and its functioning is governed under the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. PCI approved institute, it is situated on a campus of 1.07 acre in Barhampur. It provides two courses of studies in pharmacology D.Pharma and B.Pharma with total admission capacity of 127 and faculties are 26 in number. Dr. R.G. Bhoyar Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research has also established a litany of learning facilities aimed at improving the academic productivity of the students. Dr. R.G. Bhoyar Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research offers two primary courses: a two-year Diploma course in pharmacy, also known as D.Pharma and a four-year Under graduate course in pharmacy also recognised as B.Pharma. Both are full time programmes approved for intake of 60 students each enroled for 120 seats in total for both courses. Organising the institute around these two core pharmacy programmes enables it to offer specialised pharmaceutical education to students as they gain adequate training in the desired field.
Admissions to the Dr. R.G. Bhoyar Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research are based on merit as prescribed by the DTE Maharashtra Government. For the B.Pharma programme a candidate must have minimum non-zero score in the Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) conducted by the competent authority of the Maharashtra Government. Those qualifying for the admittance must apply for admission by registering for the process.
