Dr. Syamala Reddy Dental College Hospital and Research Centre abbreviated as Dr. SRDCH & RC, was founded in 1991 this dental college is a well-known dental institution in Bangalore, south India. This affiliated college is spread in 7 acres of land and is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI). Faculty of dentistry has Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and a variety of Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes. With a faculty strength of 77 excellent and experienced professionals Dr. SRDCH & RC is dedicated to impart quality dental education and healthcare services to students and patients.

For convenience and effective delivery of educational services Dr. Syamala Reddy Dental College Hospital and Research Centre possesses numerous and well equipped new generation facilities that help to capture attention and offer complete care. The library which is one of the foundations of academic resources contains books, journals and research periodicals in mainly medical and dental fields. It also provides a digital library through which students get various database resources over the internet with ease. They provide accommodation to students in separate hostels for boys and girls Student Hostel accommodated all the students in single room, twin-sharing and also multi-sharing basis. These hostels have basic facilities to enhance the comfort of the students and to meet the need of a student throughout the year.

Dr. SRDCH & RC comprises of 10 courses at two different degree levels. BDS and MDS. Namely, the full-time and five-year’ Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme has an approved student intake of 40 students at the faculty. The college also offers nine different MDS specialisations which are all 3 year full time programmes.

Dr. SRDCH & RC follows rules and procedures regarding admission as per rules and regulation of respective controlling bodies. Even, for the BDS programme students, it reflects that the admission process is mainly on the result of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET. Along the same lines for MDS programmes the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET MDS) scores are considered. These examinations at the national level give a certain competitive and standard means of admitting a batch of students by eliminating any form of bias.
